Qué me gusta y qué no de esta lista, con todos los respetos hacia el autor y sus preferencias. Me gusta la variedad de autores, géneros y épocas. No me gusta que no haya autores españoles o de habla hispana, ya que en nuestra literatura tenemos la suerte de contar con grandes obras de la literatura universal como El Quijote o Cien años de soledad.
Como una especie de homenaje, Duncan Jones, su hijo mayor, ha decidido poner en marcha un club de lectura al que ha llamado «David Bowie Book Club». Hizo la propuesta a través de Twitter y la primera lectura es Hawksmoor de Peter Aykroyd, así que aquellos que quieran formar parte de este club tienen hasta el 1 de febrero para leerla.
